About Eric

My Background:

After getting my undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in IMG_4297 - Copy (2)Environmental Education, I worked for several outdoor centers in New England and the Pacific Northwest.  I was an instructor of biology lessons, director of high ropes courses, and facilitator of adventure outings and team-building activities.

In these jobs, I noticed profound impacts on the students and participants.  I noticed something very transformative for people due to their outdoor experiences.

I saw connection, learning, clarity, serenity, reinvigoration, healing, and thriving.  I was drawn to these therapeutic aspects of one’s relationships and interactions with nature.  And I started out on the path to bring nature’s healing into a counseling practice.
